Assassin's Creed Introduces Surprising Attack on Titan Collaboration for Holiday Season
In a surprising crossover event that challenges traditional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Revealed
According to the official release, "A mysterious confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of banned ceremonies and terrifying transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret cult.
The mission concentrates on "strange experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Transformations
The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
