I'll stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
